Abstract:
Provided is a quality information collecting system which acquires video data delivered on the basis of a viewing request, and collects, from a viewing client who performs video playback, quality-related information pertaining to video viewing. The quality information collecting system is provided with: a quality information control function unit which, on the basis of the communication status of a network through which the video data are delivered, determines whether to request the viewing client who has made a viewing request to report quality-related information; and a quality information collecting and analysis function unit which, on the basis of a determination made by the quality information control function unit, receives quality-related information transmitted from the viewing client.
