Abstract:
Provided are: a quick exhaust valve that is for the automatic doors of a railway vehicle and that can suppress exhaust time to a brief level within a predetermined time; and a piping system for same. The exhaust valve is such that outflow/inflow openings and an exhaust opening are formed at a valve body housing unit having a spherical surface forming a portion of the inner periphery of a body, and a valve body having a spherical surface is rotatably inserted through an aperture opened in the valve body housing unit. At the valve body are formed: a plurality of through holes interconnecting to the outflow/inflow openings or the exhaust opening; and a mounting groove that opposes the outflow/inflow openings in a direction of intersection with the through hole. A sealing member that seals the outflow/inflow openings or the exhaust opening is mounted to the mounting groove. When the aperture is capped by a lid member, one of either the outflow/inflow openings or the exhaust opening is tightly sealed by the sealing member. The exhaust valve is provided in a manner so as to be able to interconnect the outflow/inflow openings and exhaust opening, or alternately the outflow/inflow openings to each other via the through holes, and is provided in a manner able to set a certain exhaust time for exhausting from tubing for an automatic door opening/closing device during emergencies or for security by adjusting the exhaust opening area, as appropriate.
