Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a radar device that can accurately acquire a delay time from when a detection signal arrives at a transponder until when said transponder transmits a response signal. [Solution] This radar device comprises a response signal detection unit, a transponder reflected wave detection unit, and a response delay acquiring unit. The response signal detection unit detects, from a reception signal generated as a result of reception of a reflected wave of a detection signal transmitted from an antenna, a response signal transmitted by a transponder in response to the detection signal. The transponder reflected wave detection unit detects a reflected wave that appears at an earlier timing than the response signal in the reception signal as the reflected wave of the transponder. The response delay acquiring unit acquires the response delay of the transponder on the basis of the time difference between the reflected wave and the response signal.
