Abstract:
A first and second radar module each have a channel control unit for setting the frequency bands of first and second carrier waves for the first and second radar modules, respectively, to different frequency bands and each have a radar transmission and reception unit for: transmitting high-frequency first and second radar transmission signals generated using prescribed first and second transmission code sequences and the first and second carrier waves; receiving first and second reflected radar signals, which are the first and second radar transmission signals reflected by a target; and converting the first and second reflected radar signals to first and second baseband reception signals. A signal processing unit performs prescribed synthesis processing on the outputs of the first and second radar modules. Portions of the main beam directions of the first and second radar transmission signals overlap.
