Title:
RADIATION DETECTION DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2010/095530
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A radiation detection device is configured by a first radiation detector which is located on the upstream side in the direction of incidence of radiation and detects radiation in the low energy range and a second radiation detector which is located on the downstream side and detects radiation in the high energy range. In this configuration, the pixel width (p1) of a pixel (13) in an image capturing element (12) in the first radiation detector and the pixel width (p2) of a pixel (23) in an image capturing element (22) in the second radiation detector are set to different widths in consideration of the distance (Δd) between the image capturing elements, a plurality of pixels in each of the first and second image capturing elements (12, 22) are classified into a plurality of pixel units, and a pixel unit width (w2) in the second image capturing element (22) is set larger than a pixel unit width (w1) in the first image capturing element (12). Thus, the dual energy-type radiation detection device capable of reducing the displacement between images acquired by two stages of radiation detectors is implemented.
