Title:
RADIATION DETECTOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2013/124884
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a radiation detector having a high spatial resolution. This invention has a configuration whereby two active matrix substrates are laminated to each other. Collecting electrodes (4a1, 4b1) provided in the radiation detector are increased as a result of the provision of two detection substrates. As a result, the spatial resolution of this radiation detector is increased in comparison to conventional devices. In addition, the collecting electrodes (4a1) are provided offset to the collecting electrodes (4b1), when the pair of active matrix substrates are viewed in the lamination direction of the active matrix substrates. As a result, each collecting electrode (4a1, 4b1) samples radiation at a different position, which increases the reliability of the spatial resolution of the radiation detector.
