Abstract:
This radiation measuring instrument comprises: a pair of support parts 110, 120 arranged so as to have a space therebetween in which a sample is to be placed; a frame 130 supported by the support parts 110, 120; an irradiation part 150 that is movably connected to the frame 130 and that emits radiation rays; and a detection part 170 that is movably connected to the frame 130 and that detects radiation rays scattered by a sample S1. The irradiation part 150 and the detection part 170 can move within the same plane with respect to the frame 130. Accordingly, it is possible to measure a large sample S1 at wide range of diffraction angles by using the space formed between the support parts 110, 120. Thus, measurement of diffraction on a low angle side is facilitated. Moreover, arrangement of respective parts is easy since the parts can be moved within the same plane.
