Title:
RADIO WAVE ARRIVAL DIRECTION ADAPTIVE DEDUCTION TRACKING METHOD AND DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2006/016408
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In a noncorrelation white noise environment, instantaneous correlations between p signals are taken out while shifting the correlation by one element from (M-1) instantaneous correlations from which the diagonal element of a predetermined line or column of an array covariance matrix is removed, and arraying them into a matrix to define an instantaneous correlation matrix. The instantaneous correlation matrix is separated into two matrices, i.e., upper and lower correlation matrices. A linear operator at a time n is calculated according to an LMS adaptive algorithm or an NLMS adaptive algorithm by using the two upper and lower correlation matrices and a fixed or time-varying step size parameter. A noise partial space is deduced from the linear operator. Using the noise partial space, the signal arrival direction at the time n is deduced and tracked according to the approximating Newton’s method.
