A Java applet for allowing a computer to execute predetermined Java applet programs. The Java applet allows a computer to execute a false alteration detecting step for detecting false alteration of provision information carrying an electronic signature for assuring its source and defining the locations of the predetermined Java applet programs on the basis of coidentity confirmation information for detecting false alteration of the provision information, a loading program start step for starting a loading program for loading the predetermined Java applet programs, and a loading step for loading the predetermined Java applet programs by means of the started loading program according to the provision information when no false alterations are detected at the false alteration detecting step.
