Title:
RADIOGRAPHIC DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/023158
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The invention is configured so that an X-ray tube and a flat panel X-ray detector (FPD) move parallel to each other in the same direction along the body axis, which is the longitudinal axis of the subject; while also being configured so that each time the X-ray tube and FPD are moved for each pitch, X-rays are irradiated intermittently from the X-ray tube and X-rays that have passed through the intermittently irradiated subject are detected by the FPD. The X-ray images obtained by detection are decomposed by projection angle. When the decomposed images are composed at each projection angle to obtain the respective projection images for the projection angles, peak-hold processing is performed on overlapping portions of the various decomposed images at the same projection angle to compose the projection image. Said composition preserves the contrast of features such as vasculature, can be easily and appropriately performed, and is applicable in a variety of imaging modes.
