Abstract:
The present invention relates to a random access channel transfer technology in a mobile communication system. More specifically, the present invention provides a method of transferring, by a terminal, a random access channel in an FDD mode, comprising the steps of: receiving, over a transfer channel, a signal for measuring the quality of the transfer channel transferring the random access channel; measuring the quality of the transfer channel by using the signal, and determining whether the random access channel has been transferred, on the basis of the measured quality of the transfer channel; if it is determined that the random access channel has been transferred, transferring an access probe indicating the presence of the terminal during a preset first time interval; and transferring a message containing data over the transfer channel.
