Abstract:
A pipe cutter capable of being used as a rotary pipe cutter with an excellent work efficiency in a large working space and used as a ratchet pipe cutter in a small working area, comprising a main body having a grip part and a pair of tip parts of C-shape in side view, a rotating body of C-shape in side view installed between the pair of tip parts, a sliding body installed slidably on the rotating body, and a cutting blade installed on the sliding body, wherein the tip parts of the main body and the rotating body form a ratchet mechanism and a pair of rollers are fitted pivotally on the rotating body so as to face an opening part, a coiled spring is installed in the sliding body and the cutting blade faces the pair of rollers and positioned apart sideways from the center axis of the coiled spring, and the cutting blade presses a cut pipe continuously by the resilient force of the coiled spring.
