Abstract:
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A transmitting device may encode, at a layer two (L2) layer of the transmitting device, a set of service data units (SDUs) according to a set of network coding parameters to obtain a first set of protocol data units (PDUs). The transmitting device may transmit, to one or more receiving devices, the first set of PDUs. The transmitting device may receive, from a receiving device of the one or more receiving devices, a report indicating an SDU of the set of SDUs that was unsuccessfully received at the receiving device. The transmitting device may transmit, to the one or more receiving devices, based at least in part on the received report, a second set of one or more PDUs corresponding to at least the SDU of the set of SDUs.
