Abstract:
[Problem] To measure the viscosity of raw milk. [Solution] A raw milk measuring instrument 1 comprises a flow channel 12 in which raw milk flows, first electrodes 142, 144 which protrude toward the flow channel 12, and second electrodes 162, 164 which protrude toward the flow channel 12 in the opposite direction to the first electrodes 142, 144. A voltage is applied between the first electrodes 142, 144 and the second electrodes 162, 164. End surfaces 142e, 144e of the first electrodes 142, 144 and end surfaces 162e, 164e of the second electrodes 162, 164 are disposed in the flow channel 12. The end surfaces 142e, 144e of the first electrodes 142, 144 and the end surfaces 162e, 164e of the second electrodes 162, 164 are separated from each other. The viscosity of the raw milk is measured on the basis of a change in electrical resistance between the end surfaces 142e, 144e of the first electrodes 142, 144 and the end surfaces 162e, 164e of the second electrodes 162, 164.
