Abstract:

　A rear-field-of-view confirmation device is provided with a body case attached to the front portion of a driver's seat inside an automobile, a display device mounted on the driver's-seat side of the body case, a first camera capable of photographing images of the external rear of the automobile, a second camera capable of photographing images of the external front or external side of the automobile, and a light-emitting unit provided to the outer periphery of the body case. The display device has a display instrument and a control unit arranged inside the body case. The control unit is configured so that a first image photographed by the first camera is displayed in a first display area of the display instrument, a second display area for displaying a second image photographed by the second camera can be formed in at least part of the first display area, and a portion of the light-emitting unit that corresponds to the second display area is illuminated when the second display area is formed. This rear-field-of-view confirmation device is user-friendly.
