Abstract:
The present invention involves: calculating a time domain transmission signal estimate (Sa) by performing Fourier transformation on respective blocks of a reception signal so as to equalize said signal; estimating, on the basis of the reception signal, a transmission line characteristic for each of the blocks having undergone the Fourier transformation; calculating, from the estimation result, a time domain transmission line variation estimate (Vs) that represents a variation in the transmission line characteristic in each of the blocks having undergone the Fourier transformation; generating an interference estimate (Nz) by estimating, from the time domain transmission signal estimate (Sa) and the time domain transmission line variation estimate (Vs), an interference caused by temporal variations in the transmission line characteristic; generating an interference removed reception signal (Sc) by removing the interference estimate (Nz) from the reception signal; and demodulating said interference removed reception signal (Sc). The present invention enables sufficient removal of interference even in the case when the transmission line undergoes substantial variations within a single Fourier transformation block length, thereby making it possible to improve mobile reception performance.
