Abstract:
The error included in an amplification rate is intended to be reduced. A burst signal is received. An AGC part (78) decides an amplification rate for the received burst signal. A VGA part (74) uses the decided amplification rate to amplify the received burst signal. The burst signal has Legacy STS located in its leading portion and also has MIMO-STS located in the following stage. The AGC part (78) decides a temporary amplification rate in the Legacy STS. The temporary amplification rate is then reduced. Then, an amplification rate is decided in the MIMO-STS with the temporary amplification rate as reduced being used as an initial value.
