Abstract:
Provided is a reciprocating compressor that compresses a fluid by reciprocating a piston in a cylinder through a rotary shaft rotated by a motor. A reciprocating compressor according to an aspect of the present invention comprises: a shell that forms an enclosed space and has a lubricant accommodated therein; a rotary shaft that is installed inside the shell so as to be rotatable; a motor that rotates the rotary shaft about a central axis; a crankpin that is located above the motor, is disposed to be eccentric to the rotary shaft, and rotates; a cylinder that is located above the motor and disposed in a horizontal direction; a piston that reciprocates inside the cylinder; a connecting rod that connects the crankpin and the piston; and a rotation plate that is installed below the motor so as to be constrained by the rotation of the rotary shaft, and offsets the eccentric load due to the rotation of the crankpin.
