Abstract:
A reciprocating cutting tool having two operating modes: a reciprocating saw and a jigsaw. The cutting tool comprises: a housing, a reciprocating mechanism (30), and a power mechanism (10) and a cutter-lifting mechanism (50) which are disposed in the housing. The reciprocating mechanism (30) comprises a reciprocating rod (31) disposed in the housing, and the cutter-lifting mechanism (50) comprises an actuating member (51) and a pushing member (52) which is disposed on the reciprocating rod, the actuating member (51) comprising a first engaging portion (510) and a second engaging portion (520) which respectively engage with the pushing member (52). While in the reciprocating saw mode and in the jigsaw mode, the reciprocating rod (31) moves in a reciprocating manner relative to the housing under the action of a cutting force, and at the same time brings the pushing member (52) to deflect towards the first engaging portion (510) or the second engaging portion (512) under the action of the power mechanism (10). When moving towards the pushing member (52) under the action of the power mechanism (10), the first engaging portion (510) or the second engaging portion (512) drives the pushing member (52), forcing the reciprocating rod (31) to lift the cutter.
