Abstract:
A recovery process for a positive electrode material of a waste ternary lithium-ion battery, which process sequentially comprises a pretreatment step, a heat treatment step, a primary electrolysis step, a secondary electrolysis step and a tertiary electrolysis step, wherein an aluminum-containing powder and a carbon-containing lithium nickel cobalt manganese powder can be separated via the pretreatment step; PVDF can be removed via the heat treatment step; step-by-step separation can be achieved via the three electrolysis steps so as to obtain lithium-and-manganese-containing crystals, nickel, cobalt and graphite; then the lithium-and-manganese-containing crystals are dissolved and are subjected to an electrolytic reaction to obtain a manganese substance; and sodium carbonate is added to the residual electrolyte to precipitate lithium carbonate. The present design is not only relatively high in terms of the utilization rate of an acid and is not prone to causing pollution, but also has a low energy consumption and can achieve step-by-step recovery.
