Abstract:
The present invention has both flexibility and shape stability. A rectangular cross-section multi-core insulated wire (1) includes a collection of wires (2) having an insulating layer (2b) formed around an outer periphery of conductors (2a), and has a composite twisted structure comprising a first twisted wire (21), a second twisted wire (22), a third twisted wire (23), and a fourth twisted wire (24). A fiber thread (3) having insulating properties is wound around the outer periphery of the rectangular cross-section multi-core insulated wire (1), the cross-section of the rectangular cross-section multi-core insulated wire (1) is formed having straight angles, and the winding direction of the fiber thread (3) runs opposite to the twisting direction of the twisted wires at the outermost periphery of the collection of wires (2).
