Abstract:
A rectifier (100) converts high-frequency power inputted from an input terminal (5) to DC power, and outputs the DC power from an output terminal (6). The rectifier (100) is provided with: a rectification unit (1) that converts high-frequency power to DC power; and an impedance variable unit (4) which has one end connected to a connection point between the rectification unit (1) and the output terminal (6) and has the other end to which a reference voltage is applied, and in which impedance changes with negative correlation with respect to the absolute value of the voltage of the DC power. In the case where the absolute value of the voltage of the DC power is greater than a predetermined value that is not greater than a reverse breakdown voltage of a rectifying element of the rectification unit (1), the impedance of the impedance variable unit (4) viewed from the rectification unit (1) has a value that can be regarded as short-circuit impedance.
