Abstract:
An arm (11) of a thyristor rectifier includes: first and second conductors (21, 22); and first to eighth thyristors (Q1-Q8). The first to eighth thyristors (Q1-Q8) are sequentially arranged in the same direction as that for the first and second conductors (21, 22), have respective anode electrodes (31) connected to the first conductor (21), and have respective cathode electrodes (32) connected to the second conductor (22). A slit (21a) for increasing the impedance of a current path (P1) of the first thyristor (Q1) is formed in the first conductor (21) so as to reduce the variation in currents (Iq1-Iq8) of the first to eighth thyristors (Q1-Q8).
