Abstract:
A personal digital assistant provided with a touch screen having an image display unit and a touch panel unit, wherein a touch operation is performed on the touch screen to issue an instruction. This personal digital assistant is provided with: a display control unit which causes the image display unit to display an object on which a touch operation is to be performed; an image input unit which acquires a video of an operation indicator object that performs a touch operation on the touch screen; and a deviation detection unit which analyzes the video of the operation indicator object as acquired by the image input unit, and calculates the amount of deviation of the position of the operation indicator object relative to the position of the personal digital assistant. On the basis of the relative amount of deviation of the operation indicator object calculated by the deviation detection unit, the display control unit causes the image display unit to display the object to be displayed, in such a manner that the object to be displayed is displaced in accordance with the relative amount of deviation of the operation indicator object. This reduces erroneous operation due to displacement of touches occurring when the personal digital assistant is used within a shaking vehicle.
