Abstract:

A bearing (4) has: a roller (7) with a large-diameter end face (7b) and a small-diameter end face (7a); an outer race (5); and an inner race (6) with a raceway surface (6c) that is provided on the outer peripheral side and has a conical shape in contact with an outer peripheral face (7c) of the roller (7), a small-diameter flange part (6d) that is provided on the opposite side of the pinion from the extended line of the small-diameter end face (7a) of the roller (7), and a large-diameter flange part (6g) that is provided more toward the pinion side than the extended line of the large-diameter end face (7b) of the roller (7), partially surrounds the large-diameter end face (7b) of the roller (7), and extends from the inner race (6) toward the outer race (5) so as to approach a gear-side end face (5d) of the outer race (5) and form with the gear-side end face (5d) an opening (4a). A plurality of through holes (6a) is provided in the large-diameter flange part (6g) of the inner race (6) and formed at predetermined intervals in the rotational direction of the inner race (6). The through holes (6a) run from a gear-side end face (6b) of the inner race (6) toward an outer peripheral edge (7d) of the large-diameter end face (7b) of the roller (7).
