Abstract:
[Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a reel seat equipped with a click mechanism that generates a click sound with a simple structure without increasing the outer diameters of a floating hood and a nut member. [Solution] A body of this reel seat is provided with: a nut member 70 with which a floating hood for fixing a reel leg is fitted such that the floating hood moves in an axial direction while being prevented from rotation; and a click mechanism 80 provided in a region in which the floating hood is fitted with the nut member. The click mechanism 80 comprises: dips and bumps 82 that are formed on the inner peripheral surface of the nut member and generate a click sound; a plate spring 90 having a top 90a that is engaged with the dips and bumps 82 and bent locking parts 90b that are formed on both ends of the plate spring; an arc shaped recess portion 84 that is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the floating hood and in which the plate spring 90 is placed; and a protrusion 84a that is formed on both sides of the recess portion 84 in the circumferential direction and to which the bent locking part 90b is locked. In a state in which the nut member 70 is rotated and the bent locking part 90b of the plate spring is engaged with the protrusion 84a, a gap S is formed with respect to the bent locking part.
