Abstract:
[Problem] To realize more uniform diffusion-angle distribution properties. [Solution] This reflectance-type diffusion plate includes a micro-lens array comprising a unit lens group positioned on the surface of a transparent substrate, wherein: the aperture diameter and radius of curvature of each unit lens constituting the unit lens group is varied for the entire unit lens group; the apex positions of the unit lenses are irregularly disposed; the luminance distribution of the reflected light of the light perpendicularly entering the unit lens group is substantially uniform within a prescribed diffusion angle range; and the relationship 0.3≤A/B≤1 is established when, with respect to at least one beam of light that enters the unit lens group from a direction in which the angle formed with the surface normal direction of the transparent substrate is 20 degrees or 40 degrees, the reflection luminance value of the surface normal direction is A and the peak reflection luminance value of a reflection diffusion component is B.
