Title:
REFLECTIVE ROAD SIGN
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2008/032141
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A reflective road sign, in the shape of a man, having a solid base and a pivoting arm. Cylindrical studs enable the sign to be folded inwards. A centre stud enables the sign to be stable; a solid slotted block protects the sign from high velocity winds.

CLAIMS

1. A road/highway caution sign in the form and shape of a man built with reflective collapsible materials.

2. A caution sign according to claim 1 which has a solid base in lieu of its legs:

3. A caution sign according to claim 2 which is fitted with swinging flexible materials to absorb vibration that allows it to bend and rise at will;

4. A caution sign according to claim 3 which is fitted to with one collapsible hand indication an obstruction on the highway.

Description:

Reflective Road Sign

This invention relates to a caution sign in the form and shape of a man. It visibility. It is too low in height and therefore not attractive enough for the purpose which it meant to serve..

You will also discover that the conventional mode not being easily noticeable would require the complimentary presence of a human being in sending the appropriate signals to the other road users. It is therefore expected that the caution man would eliminae this type of scenario.

The human shape of the caution man makes it more visible for other may occur on the road. For effectiveness, the caution man is made with reflective material which makes it glow even at night for easy and prompt attention. Furthermore, the legs or base of the invention would be made of

The present invention proposes a road caution, sign, in the form and shape of visibility at night. The stand would be built with a very solid base and to be to bend and rise at will The invention would also be fitted with one flexible collapsible hand.

The need for a more improved caution signal has long been overdue hence desirable. The invention will be equipped with auto reflective light to be

The invention will now be described solely by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawing in which:

1 Shows a circular plate which accommodates reflective light at the edges, the light also have the tendency of reflecting in the day time.

2 Shows a cylindrical studs which enables one to fold 1 inward. The studs also accommodate 7 which is the center stand.

3 Shows auto-reflective light which signals the on coming vehicles of danger ahead It could be wpered by the battery at night and should reflect in daytim e.

4 Shows a rectangular plate in form of a hand of 3 folds, which is being attached together by means of a circular gear and locking decice which enables each fold to move to a predetermined angle. At point A the hand has the tendency to be rotated in the direction the on comingg vehicle are intended to be directed. 5 Shows a circular plate and an arrow directing on coming vehicles. 5 is riveted to 4 which should allow for rotation and hence enables the user to direct the vehicles to intended direction.

6 Shows a hollow body frame of 135 feet and surrounded by auto reflective light. The hollow body frame allows the wind velocity to pass through without de-stabilizing the Caution man.

7 Shows the stand which is riveted to the base of 6 in such a way to allow for folding. The center stand is attached to 2 and enables the Caution man to tilt backward for better stability.

8 Shows a solid block which is slotted into the base, hence protecting the Caution man falling due to high wind velocity.
