Abstract:
A refrigerator having a favorable storage efficiency, in which a machine room (400), in particular, a compressor (401) is projectingly provided at a rear end of an underside of a refrigerator body (100) to be disposed in a storage section (501) of a pedestal (500) provided at the underside of the refrigerator body (100), thereby reducing a space (stepped portion (109)) for the provision of the compressor (401) on the refrigerator body (100) to extend rearward a storage space of a storage chamber (10), in particular, a storage container (41) in a vegetable chamber (40) provided in the lowermost section of the storage chamber (10).
