Abstract:
A refrigerator comprising: a housing (101) formed by heat-insulating walls; a storage compartment provided inside the housing (101); a door sealing the storage compartment in an openable/closable manner; an operation unit provided on an edge-frame side surface of the door; and an automatic opening/closing device for opening/closing the door automatically. The automatic opening/closing device is configured so as to close the door on the basis of a door-closing trigger generated by the operation unit. By means of the disclosed refrigerator it is possible to carry out an operation for automatically opening/closing the door in a standing position in front of the refrigerator. Therefore, the inconvenience of moving or bending over to carry out the operation can be alleviated, the operability of the door can be improved, and the ease of use for the user can be improved.
