Provided is a refrigerator in which it is possible to link an upper case and a lower case and increase the size of an accommodation space, and in which removal from a storage chamber can be stably performed in a state in which the upper case and the lower case are linked.　A refrigerator (1) in which the following are accommodated inside a storage space (7) in a removable manner: an upper case (14) formed from a first front surface plate (16), a first left-side surface plate (17a), a first right-side surface plate (17b), a first back surface plate (17c), and first bottom surface plates (19a), (19b), the upper case (14) being open upward; and a lower case (15) formed from a second front-surface plate (62), a second left-side surface plate (63a), a second right-side surface plate (63b), a second back surface plate (63d), and a second bottom surface plate (63c), the lower case (15) being provided below the upper case (14) and being open upward. The first bottom-surface plates (19a), (19b) of the upper case (14) are provided so as to be capable of turning downward so that the bottom surface (B) of the upper case (14) opens. In a state in which the bottom surface (B) is opened, the first bottom surface plates (19a), (19b) are fixed to the second left-side surface plate (63a) or the second right-side surface plate (63b) of the lower case (15).
