The present invention relates to a refrigerator, comprising: an evaporation unit installed at the rear of a freezing chamber installed in an upright state; a first water collection guide unit having an inclined surface for guiding the flow of defrost water dropped from the evaporation unit; a second water collection guide unit installed on the other side in the width direction of the evaporation unit and having an inclined surface for guiding the flow of the defrost water dropped from the evaporation unit; a third water collection guide unit installed below the evaporation unit and having an inclined surface for guiding the flow of the defrost water dropped from the evaporation unit; and tray units, installed on the lower side of the third water collection unit guide and on both sides in the width direction of the third water collection guide unit, that receive, store, and then evaporate the defrost water collected in at least one of the first water collection guide unit, the second water collection guide unit, and the third water collection guide unit.
