Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to the field of wireless communications. Provided are a registration method, a network repository function (NRF) network element, a network function (NF) network element and a communication system. The method comprises: an NRF network element receiving first registration information sent by a first NF network element, wherein the first registration information comprises characteristic information of the first NF network element and an identifier of one or more pieces of target shared information corresponding to the first NF network element; by using the identifier of each piece of target shared information, searching registration information of registered shared information for registration information of each piece of target shared information; and according to search results of the registration information of all target shared information, returning to the first NF network element a response for the first registration information. The same shared information only needs to be registered once, an NF network element can complete registration by simply providing, to an NRF network element, its own characteristic information and an identifier of corresponding target shared information, and it is not necessary to repeatedly provide shared information, thereby greatly reducing occupied network transmission resources and saving on storage resources of the NRF network element.
