Abstract:
This reinforcing structure for a heat exchanger 1 is provided with an end plate 4 and reinforcing members 7 that are brazed while fitted to opening sections 18 of flat tubes 2, wherein: the opening sections 18 each have a flat surface portion and a semicircular internal surface portion; the reinforcing members 7 each have a long body section and an overlapping section; the body section has a bead portion for assisting in the longitudinal elastic deformation of the reinforcing member 7; the overlapping section has a surface to which a brazing material is applied ; tips of folded portions of the overlapping section are pointed; and brazing is applied while the tips are in contact with the semicircular internal surface part in a state in which the reinforcing members 7 are fitted to the opening sections 18.
