Abstract:
Provided are a related word registration device, an information processing device, a related word registration method, a program for the related word registration device, and a recording medium, whereby: a related word candidate set (12b) of related word candidates extracted based on a prescribed condition is generated (S1-S4) from a search query log (12a); a search query for a search word input by a user is received (S10); a partial character string is generated (S13) from the search word character string; a candidate character string is extracted (S14) from the related word candidate set based on the partial character string; a suitability score for the candidate character string is calculated (S16); the candidate character string is ranked (S17) in order of score; a suitability score reference line (L1) for the ranking is generated (S18) based on the suitability score and the ranking; a candidate character string with a divergence between the suitability score and the reference line that is at or above a preset threshold value is extracted (S19) as a registration character string for registration as a related word; and the extracted registration character string and the search word are registered (S20) in a related word database (12c) as related words.
