Abstract:
A remaining battery power estimation device (50) estimates the remaining power in a secondary battery (41) on the basis of the specific remaining power of the secondary battery when a prescribed parameter correlated with the remaining power of the secondary battery undergoes a unique change. The remaining battery power estimation device comprises: a determination unit (52) that determines whether a prescribed condition is satisfied when the remaining power in the secondary battery has been discharged from a state of being higher than a specific remaining power to a state of being lower than the same, said condition being that the change in quantity of the remaining power during a prescribed period up until when charging of the secondary battery is started is at or below a prescribed change quantity; and an estimation unit (53) that, if it has been determined by the determination unit that the prescribed condition is satisfied, estimates, on the basis of the specific remaining power, the remaining power in the secondary battery at the time when the prescribed parameter underwent a unique change during charging of the secondary battery.
