Abstract:
The present invention relates to a remote control equipped with a switch type icon display module which can control various functions, in which a configuration thereof can be simplified, a size thereof can be reduced, and manufacturing cost and power consumption thereof can be reduced by selectively displaying various icons through screen switching. The remote control comprises: a housing; a printed circuit board provided within the housing; a switch type icon display module which is provided on the printed circuit board and switches screens through an operation thereof; a wireless transmitter which is provided at the housing and transmits a wireless signal to an electronic device; a control unit which performs a control for transmitting an operation signal of a user to the wireless transmitter; and a power supply which is provided within the housing to supply the power. The switch type icon display module comprises: a first icon film on which a plurality of icons are printed; a second icon film which is arranged at a lower part of the first icon film and on which icons different from the first icon film are printed; a first semitransparent film arranged between the first icon film and the second icon film; a second semitransparent film arranged on the first icon film; a touch screen arranged on the second semitransparent film; a plurality of first light sources provided at the printed circuit board to irradiate light on the first icon film; and a plurality of second light sources provided at the printed circuit board to irradiate light on the second icon film.
