Abstract:
Disclosed is a remote control method for a self-driving automobile, comprising the following steps: a center control device receives a remote control request message sent by the automobile, detects a driving operation of a controller to a driving simulation cabin, generates, according to the driving operation, a driving operation simulation instruction used for simulating the driving operation, and sends the driving operation simulation instruction to the automobile. According to the method, the central control device generates, according to the driving operation of the controller to the driving simulation cabin, the driving operation simulation instruction and sends same to the automobile, thereby solving the problem in the prior art that the self-driving automobile and passengers therein are trapped due to the failure of the control server in dealing with an emergency situation of the automobile, and saving time and manpower as the operators can remotely control the automobile by means of the driving simulation cabin without going to the scene. The present invention further relates to a remote control device for a self-driving automobile.
