Abstract:
Provided is a near-to-eye display apparatus. The apparatus comprises a display unit (11) for respectively displaying a first image and a second image at different time periods; a polarization conversion element (12) for converting light of the first image to first linearly polarized light and converting light of the second image to second linearly polarized light, wherein polarization directions of the first linearly polarized light and the second linearly polarized light are different; a polarization beam-splitting element (14) for receiving the first linearly polarized light and the second linearly polarized light and enabling same to be emitted in different directions; and an image light transmission unit (15) for transmitting the first linearly polarized light and transmitting the second linearly polarized light. Also provided is a near-to-eye display method for the near-to-eye display apparatus. The problems of eye fatigue and dizziness of a user can be solved.
