Abstract:
A replaceable housing for a mobile communication device (100). The mobile communication device (100) can include an inner module (110), a cap outer housing (130) and a base outer housing (135). The inner module (110) can include a first inner module (115) housing, a second inner module (120) housing, and a tongue (125) including a portion of the first inner module housing and a portion of the second inner module housing. The cap outer housing can include a slot along an inner length of the cap outer housing. The base outer housing can also include a slot along an inner length of the base outer housing. The tongue can include a portion of the first inner module housing and a portion of the second inner module housing.
