Abstract:
A search unit (107) searches for, by use of information relating to files stored in the same folder as a moving image file that is to be reproduced, a subtitle file corresponding to the moving image file. If such subtitle file is existent, a notification unit (108) outputs a first notification video signal indicating to that effect, thereby notifying, via a video output unit (201), a user of the existence of the subtitle file corresponding to the moving image file.
