A chassis 2 has a housing portion 3 tightly sealed by a plurality of chassis components being fixed sandwiching a sealing component and is provided with: a power conversion circuit unit 11 including semiconductor switching elements for converting DC power to AC power by switching; a temperature sensor 14 for detecting the internal temperature of the housing portion 3; a pressure sensor 15 for detecting the internal pressure of the housing portion 3; and a diagnosis unit 21 for determining the sealed state of the housing portion 3 from the internal temperature detected by the temperature sensor 14 and the internal pressure detected by the pressure sensor 15. The diagnosis unit 21 increases the internal temperature of the housing portion 3 at a timing either before or after a first time and performs processing for determining the sealing state of the housing portion 3 by whether, in the interval between the first time and a second time when a predetermined time has elapsed from the first time, a temperature difference between the internal temperatures of the housing portion 3 and a pressure difference between the internal pressures of the housing portion 3 satisfy a direct proportional relationship.
