Abstract:
Provided are a resin composite material that includes sheet shaped flake graphite or oxidized flake graphite with a small amount of bending and wrinkling and in which the mechanical strength such as the tensile modulus of elasticity is effectively increased, and a method for manufacturing this resin composite material. The resin composite material includes a synthetic resin and flake graphite or oxidized flake graphite. When the resin composite material is cut by two orthogonal cross-sectional surfaces, the resin composite material has an average value of less than 0.3 for average degree of flexion of the flake graphite or oxidized flake graphite in one cross-sectional surface and the average degree of flexion for the flake graphite or oxidized flake graphite in the other cross-sectional surface. The method for manufacturing the resin composite material is provided with a preparation step for preparing a plurality of resin compositions having the synthetic resin and flake graphite or oxidized flake graphite, and following the preparation step, a step for layering the plurality of resin compositions and pressing the same.
