Abstract:
This resin composition for anti-slip mats comprises synthetic barium sulfate and a thermoplastic elastomer composition as essential components, wherein the synthetic barium sulfate is contained in an amount of 20-70 mass%, the resin composition having a durometer type-A hardness of 20-80. With this resin composition, anti-slip mats for use in wet areas can be easily produced, the mats being flexible, able to sink under water by itself, lightweight and easy to handle even for elderly and other persons, and excellent in terms of mechanical strength and wear resistance.
