Abstract:
Provided are a retrieval method and an index construction method, used for reducing retrieval delay. The method comprises: representing M feature vectors of a retrieved object by using first data, each feature vector of the retrieval object corresponding to one mode of the retrieval object, and M being an integer greater than 1; and because in an index, each set of object information corresponds to M feature vectors, the M feature vectors of each set of object information are represented by one set of second data, and each feature vector of the object information corresponds to one mode of the object information, obtaining the relevance between multiple sets of object information and the retrieved object on the basis of the first data and the second data in the index, and outputting at least one set of retrieved object information of which the relevance to the retrieved object is greater than a first threshold.
