Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a reversal device that can reverse a workpiece with a simple configuration and can easily transfer workpieces to and from a loader device, and to provide a machine tool. [Solution] A reversal device 100 comprises: a lower receiving part 10 on which a workpiece W is placed and which abuts at least at two places of a lower side of an outer peripheral surface of the workpiece W; a rotation mechanism 20 that rotates the lower receiving part 10 around a rotation axis AX1 parallel to the vertical direction; and an upper pressing part 30 that is provided above the rotation axis AX1 in relation to the lower receiving part 10 and abuts at least at one place of an upper side of the outer peripheral surface of the workpiece W placed on the lower receiving part 10. The lower receiving part 10 and the upper pressing part 30 are relatively movable along the rotation axis AX1, and in a state in which the workpiece W is sandwiched by the lower receiving part 10 and the upper pressing part 30, the workpiece W is reversed by rotating the lower receiving part 10 around the rotation axis AX1 using the rotation mechanism 20.
