Abstract:
In response to an input torque: an input shaft (1) and a camshaft (2) rotate; an eccentric cam (5a) integral with the camshaft (2) rotates eccentrically; and a spacer (9) which is fitted onto the outer periphery of the eccentric cam (5a) with the interposition of a bearing (24) and which is capable of rotating relative to the eccentric cam (5a) revolves around the eccentric cam (5a), thereby causing an output outer ring (6) to which torque is transmitted from the spacer (9) via a cam bearing (7) and a torque transmission mechanism (10) to rotate. In response to a reverse input torque: the operation of a locking-type reverse input blocking mechanism (4) prevents the input shaft (1) and the camshaft (2) from rotating; and the eccentric cam (5a) regulates the revolving motion of the spacer (9), and by this means the output outer ring (6) rotates while causing the spacer (9) to spin, via the torque transmission mechanism (10). With this configuration, the spacer (9) does not become locked when the input torque supply stops, and a stable idling operation can be obtained.
