Abstract:
This RF tag is provided with an inlay (10) having an IC chip (11) and an antenna (12), a planar auxiliary antenna (20) laminated in a state insulated from the inlay (10), a permittivity adjustment plate (30) which forms the base on which the laminated inlay (10) and auxiliary antenna (20) are mounted and which functions as a permittivity adjustment layer for the mounted inlay (10), and a frame (50 (51, 52)) which internally houses the permittivity adjustment plate (30) in a state in which the laminated inlay (10) and auxiliary antenna (20) are mounted; the RF tag is configured such that the permittivity adjustment plate (30) is configured to engage inside of the frame (50) so as to be detachable but immovable, and so as to be formed into a shape engendering a prescribed permittivity to adjust the communication characteristics of the inlay (10) on which the auxiliary antenna (20) is laminated.
