Abstract:
To enhance the durability of an RFID tag to dewatering work. An RFID tag 1 is configured by attaching a chip module 4 for wireless communication to a base cloth 3. The chip module 4 has an IC chip 46 for controlling wireless communication, a core antenna 48 electrically connected to the IC chip 46, and an encapsulation part 49 for encapsulating the IC chip 46 and core antenna 48 and having at least one through-hole 42 formed therein. The base cloth 3 has a boost antenna 2 formed by an electrically conductive fiber, and the chip module 4 is attached to the base cloth 3, at a prescribed position relative to the boost antenna 2, by a non-conductive yarn 44 that penetrates both the through-hole 42 and the base cloth 3.
