Abstract:
The present invention improves operability so as to reduce an operation load required for depressing an operation button when an outer lid is opened in a state in which pressure is not applied inside a rice-cooker pot, while also ensuring safety such that the outer lid does not open when an attempt is made to open the outer lid in a state in which pressure is applied inside the rice-cooker pot. Provided is a rice cooker comprising a rotatable hook lever provided to an outer lid, a hook-receiving part that is provided to an upper frame of a main body and that engages with one end of the hook lever, an operation button that is provided to an upper surface of the outer lid and that depresses the other end of the hook lever to release the engaged state between the hook lever and the hook-receiving part, a frame-shaped button lever that is provided to the outer periphery of the operation button and that moves the hook lever in the depressing direction when the operation button is depressed, and a linking spring that is positioned on a lower surface of the operation button within a frame opposing the button lever and that transmits depression force applied to the operation button to the button lever while the operation button is deformed in accordance with depression force, the linking spring being secured to the button lever in a pre-flexed state.
